Kerala Government has given sanction to a package giving permission for new plus-two schools and batches.
In a press release here today, Chief Minister Oommen Chandy said the package was discussed in the cabinet meeting on the basis of High Court verdict, directing to facilitate less financial liability for students. Plus-two schools have been sanctioned in 134 Panchayaths that does not have plus-two schools. Sanction is given for a single batch at present. New batches will be allotted in places having no proper educational facilities for students.
