38 Migrant workers held in Kozhikode

Thirty-eight migrant workers, including ten children, from West Bengal were taken into custody for questioning in Kozhikode district of Kerala  today.    Police said the workers, 15 women, 13 men and children, hailing from Malda district, were held from Kozhikode Railway Station and nearby places.    Seven Bangladeshi nationals working in construction sites without proper documents were arrested at Mukkam in the district recently.    They were later remanded.
