A day after hectic schedule in the capital of Himalayan state, Prime Minister Narendra Modi performed puja at the famous Pashupatinath temple, which was flooded with devotees and onlookers on the auspicious day of Monday of the Shravan month. Mr Modi offered puja at the fifth century temple for more than 45 minutes on the last day of his two days official visit to Nepal. This is the first bilateral trip by an Indian Prime Minister to Nepal in 17 years. Invoking blessings of the Lord Shiva, the visiting Prime Minister donated 2500 Kg of Sandalood to the temple trust. Lakhs of Hindu Pilgrims across the world pay their obeisance at the temple which is situated on the banks of the River Bagmati, a few kms from the city.
