Puducherry Chief Minister N Rangasamy today turned 65. The supporters of Mr Rangasamy celebrated his birthday in a grand manner. The town wore a festive look with posters, banners, hoardings and cutouts greeting Mr Rangasamy every where depicting him in the guise of several leaders including film stars. Thousands of people thronged his residence at Kadirgamam to greet him on the occasion. After a pooja in his pooja room, Mr Rangasamy cut a cake prepared by the N R Congress workers to celebrate his birth day. People stood in a long queue to greet him on the occasion. Special poojas were performed in several temples, churches and mosques on the occasion. Feasts, poor feedings and blood donation camps at several places in Puducherry were organised to mark the celebrations.
