Leading firms set up shops in HiLITE park

The Kozhikode city based HiLITE Business Park was getting national level attention with introduction of leading firms to the multimillion project with unique features.
Interacting with media here last evening Chairman and Managing Director HiLITE Group of Companies P Sulaiman and Director, HiLITE Builders M A Mehboob said the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) and many IT firms had already opened their offices in the park.
Stating it also targets Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) by providing hitech features as they aimed competitiveness and profitability, they claimed. Catering to IT and nonIT sectors, the business park offered more than 100 office spaces ranging from 1,125 sq.ft with twin ‘S’ shaped towers, they said.
Major retailers, including Aditya Birla Group, Raymonds, Pantaloon, Lifestyle, Shoppers Stop, Mark & Spencers, Auchan, Cinepolis, Max and Ameoba are expected to open outlets in the shopping mall which was part of the project, they said.
The mall was expected to be inaugurated this December, they said. The Park was part of the HiLITE City which has 14 lakh sq.ft shopping mall, 10 sq.ft office space, 2000 futuristic apartments, they said. With central airconditioning and a parking space that can accommodate 1200 vehicles, it also has multi cuisine food courts, amphitheater, power back up and other amenities, they added.
Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy formally inaugurated the park at a function presided over by Panchayat and Social Welfare Minister M K Muneer. M K Raghavan, MP and A Pradeep Kumar, MLA, among others, were present.
