Bjaj Auto Limited, a leading two-wheeler manufacturing in the country, has launched the highly anticipated RC series of KTM super-sport motorcycles, the RC 390 and the RC 200 in the state today.
Launching the sport motorcycle, Bajaj probiking Senior Vice President Amit Nandi said ‘the leading motorcycle brand of Europe, with over 240 World Championship title, KTM comes from a rich world of motorcycles racing and all products are built with a rich experience competitions.’
‘KTM has grown by 120 per cent in the current financial year and with the RC’s we, expect KTM to be the fastest growing motorcycles brand in India,’ he added.
Stating that the company had sold 11000 units in the last financial year, Mr Nandi said ‘the demand for the bike was quite promising across the world and we are expecting that we are targeting hundred per cent increase with a total of 22000 bikes in the current financial year.’
Regarding the share of his company’s sport bike in the country, he said the share stood at 38 per cent, while that of in Karnataka and Kerala stood at 60 per cent.
