The Ithihadu Shubbanil Mujahideen (ISM) in Kerala today said it would launch a signature campaign demanding an affectie law to eradicate superstitions in the state on October 2.
Talking to reporters in Kozhikode, ISM-Kerala President U P Yahya Khan and Vice President Jaffer Vanimel said the government should consider enactment of law on the lines of The Maharashtra Prevention and Eradication of Human Sacrifice and Other Inhuman, Evil and Aghori Practices and Black Magic Act to eradicate growing blind practices that led to exploitations in the State.
To achieve the goal, the ISM would undertake a massive signature campaign in all the districts in the state on October 2.
It would be submitted along with a representation to the Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy and Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala in Thiruvanthapuram on October 21.
The outfit will also take out a rally in Thiruvanthapuram on October 21, they added.
