Kannur(KER) | The Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala in Kannur district will hold its passing-out Parade (POP) for Autumn Term 2014 on November 29 at INA.
A total of 400 cadets of four passing-out courses including the 87th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC), B Tech and MSc courses, the 18th Naval Orientation Course (Extended) and the 19th Naval Orientation Course (Regular), will pass out on successful completion of their training, a release from INA said here today.
The Passing-out cadets include 43 female, of which 37 would join the Indian Navy and the remaining six in the Indian Coast Guard, it said.
Chief of the Naval Staff, Admiral R K Dhowan, will be the Chief Guest for the occassion, it said.
The INA’s (AICTE accredited) four year B Tech degree course is conducted under the aegis of the Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi.
As part of the events connected with the POP, cadets of the 87th INAC will be awarded their degrees by Prof Anurag Kumar, Director, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore in a convocation ceremony schedulde on November 28, the release said.
