Panaji | The BJP ruled Goa state has once again banned the Hindu right- wing organisation Sri Ram Sena from entering the state for a period of 60 days. The ban on Sri Ram Sena had lapsed on December 18, 2014.
Both the north and south Goa district collectors issued the ban under section 144 CrPC for the period of 60 days, on January 16.
Both district magistrates of north and south Goa, Nila Mohanan and Venacio Furtado respectivel issued the ban order, stopping the entry of Pramod Mutalik and any of his associates/ members within the jurisdiction of the two districts from the date of this order.
The order was issued immediately after the chief minister Laxmikant Parsekar cleared the long pending file with the remark to ban the Sri Ram Sena.
