Thiruvananthapuram | Long distance runner Preeja Sreedharan will lead a 744-member Kerala team in the 35th National Games to be held in seven districts across the state from January 31.
Announcing the list, Sports Council President Padmini Thomas said today that there would be 391 men and 353 women in the Kerala team.
A strong contingent of 90 sportspersons, including 44 women, would represent the state in the athletic events.
Besides 2010 Asian Games medal winner Preeja, the Kerala team would have Incheon Asian Games medalists Tintu Luka and O P Jaisha.
Meanwhile, a 150-member team from Manipur reached the state capital today. A warm reception was accorded to them under the leadership of Sports Minister Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan.
