Kerala swimmers continue supremacy in aquatic events

Thiruvananthapuram | Spirited Kerala swimmers continued their supremacy on the second day in aquatic events,  as they killed the challenges of their mighty rivals in the qualifying rounds as the 35the national games is progressing  at the Pirappancode Aquatic Stadium here today.
In the men’s relay event, Kerala, who won a gold on the opening day, continued their supremacy as the teach come first  in the heat with a timings  of 4:5.45 seconds.
In the 1500 m free style also Kerala’s Anand A S was far  ahead than his nearest rival of Maharasthra, as the kerala lad touched the ribbon with a timings of 16:2.54 seconds against Maharashtra lad, who could be able to finish his swim taking 18:2.54 seconds.
In the 800 M free style for women, Keralas Priiya c and Sandhya S come first and second with a timings of 10:2.78 secs and 10:3.37 secs respectively, while Kerala lad Anoop Augustine and Arun S  succeeded in taking the first place in the qualifying of 200 M breast stroke for men with a timings of 2:23.31 and 2:22.43 seconds respectively.
Madhya Pradesh lad Sandeep won the heat  in 200 M breast stroke for men with a timings of 2:21. Seconds.
