Thiruvananthapuram | With the scintillating performance by wrestlers, Haryana maintained its lead in the point table with 11 golds, three silver and one bronze, while Services SCB is chasing Haryana with nine golds, two silver and four bronze, till noon on the third day of the 35th National Games, which is progressing in various venues in the state.
Maharashtra stood the third position with seven gold, ten silver and four bronze taking the total of 20 medals, while hosts Kerala is in the fourth position on the table with four gold, six silver and six bronze.
Hariyana wrestlers stole the limelight in wrestling, as they bagged nine gold out of 12 declared so far. Besides this they had also succeeded in annexing two silver, to make their total to 11.
However, in rowing, services rowers proved their prowess, bagging five golds, out of nine decided so far, while Manipur stood behind with two golds in the same discipline.
In swimming Madhya Pradesh continued its domination in water sports, winning four golds, while Maharashtra was chasing MP with three golds, five silver and two bronze to take their total tally to ten.
Kerala is also on the third place with three gold, three silver and four bronze in swimming so far.
