Thiruvananthapuram | Kerala swimmer Sajan Prakash hogged the limelight in the aquatic events in the ongoing 35th National Games, as he picked up six medals, including four yellow metals from the pool.
As four days proceedings over, the Kerala lad become top in the table in individual medal list, as he had already won three gold medals in individual events, including 1500 M free style, 100 Butterfly and 200 m butterfly, that too record breaking performance.
Besides this, he had also annexed one silver on his personal capacity, while a silver and a gold in 4 x 100 m relay events. Of the three individual records, the 200 m butterfly event was to be remarkable, as he succeeded in erasing 18-year-old record also set up by a Kerala lad Suresh in 1997.
Service shooter Chain Singh Manha stood behind Prakash, as the military man won four medals, including three gold medals at gun point.
Two swimmers from Maharashtra, Sandeep Sejwal and Rich Mishra also bagged four medals, including three yellow metals so far.
