1 more CPM activist held by CBI in RSS Man Murder Case

Kannur | The CBI team probing the murder case of RSS District Functionary Manoj of Kathirur today arrested one more CPI(M) activist in this case.   With this all 19 persons accused in this case have been arrested, according to CBI sources here.
Krishnan (44) of Chapparapadavu near Thaliparamba, who was an employee of CPI(M) mouth piece ‘Deshabhimani’ circulation wing at Kannur, was arrested from Thalassery, today.
His  main role  in this murder was suspected to be hatching the conspiracy and harboring the main accused Vikraman who were directly involved in the murder.   CBI sources said he would be produced before the Thalassery District Sessions Court tomorrow.
The CBI team took over the case on November five and arrested 12 accused while the Crime Branch Special Investigation Team (SIT) that probed the case earlier had arrested seven CPI(M) activists,including Key accused Vikraman.   RSS District Functionary Manoj (42), who lost control of his van after the assailants threw a bomb, was hacked to death by the unidentified assailants at Ukkasmotta near Kathirur in the politically sensitive Kannur District on September one last. His companion Pramod was severely injured in the attack.
