Thiruvananthapuram | A new pair of superfast express train between Thiruvananthapuram Central and Nizamuddin, via Alappuzha will be formally introduced by Union Railways Minister Suresh Prabhakar Prabhu here tomorrow, through video conferencing.
The elected representatives from the area would also attend the flagging off function at the central station, a release said here today. The inaugural special train will leave Thiruvananthapuram Central at 1440 hrs tomorrow and would reach at Nizamuddin at 1715 hrs on February 13.
The regular service of the train would commence from February 18, it said, adding the train number 22655 would leave the Thiruvananthapuram central at 0155 hrs and would reach Nizamuddin at 0200 hrs on the third day.
On its return trip the train would leave Nizamuddin at 1005 hrs and would reach Thiruvananthapuram on the third at 1400 hrs, it added.
