Yajnas, pujas, prayers being organised for Team India’s win in WC semis

Lucknow | Indian cricket team is sweating in the nets in Australia and the same effort is being done by their fans in Uttar Pradesh.
Yajnas are being performed, special prayers are being offered to the God wishing Team India all the best and for a sure shot victory in the Semis.
Ajeet Verma, a 25-year-old trainee chef of prominent hotel told UNI here that he is on a fast of nine days and performing special prayers to the god wishing for the victory of Team India.
Another similar report has come from the adjoining Rae Bareli district where Saurabh  Gupta, a hotelier has performed yajnas along with his friends counting more than 12 in numbers in the Mana Devi Mata Mandir near the railway station.
Ankit Gupta, a bakery owner in the adjacent Sitapur  district here told UNI, he along with his several friends  have tied a ‘wish knot’ at the famous Naimi Sharanya temple wishing for team India’s victory in the Semi’s as well as the final round of the ongoing Cricket Word Cup. Similar reports were pouring from almost all the districts of Uttar Pradesh.
On the other hand, a media report also stated that bulk of the employees working in different Multi National Companies(MNC’s) have applied for leave tomorrow i.e Mar 26’2015 when India will take on Australia in the semi-final knock out match.
An excited cricket fan Arun Singh working with the Reliance Communications said, he earlier applied for the leave but was rejected by the administration department and will now give an excuse of falling ill on the same day  and not really caring about the consequences of the accidental  leave.
Besides, the other reasons for the excitement in UPites because of the ongoing form of state players Suresh Raina, Mohammad Shami and Bhuvneshwar Kumar.
Several big screens have been installed at many places in the entire state capital owing to fervor joy and great excitement of the cricket matches.
