Kozhikode | Describing allegations raised by veteran CPI (M) leader and Kerala Opposition leader V S Achuthanandan against the Central and the state leadership of the party as baseless, Politburo member S Ramachandran Pillai today said the Central Committee will discuss the issues.
Talking to reporters here he said the Politburo which took up the issues earlier had rejected them as these were baseless.
Coming down heavily on the criticism levelled by him, CPI (M) State Secretariat in a resolution adopted at its meet yesterday said it appeared that Achuthanandan was acting as a parallel party leader in the state.
The four-page resolution read out by Party State Secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan at a press meet, had urged him to comply with the party discipline and correct himself.
