Kannur | Union Minister for Forest and Environment Prakash Javedkar today said the the Consumer Price Index (CPI) was down across the nation while in Kerala CPI meant Communist Party of India and both the CPIs were down in Kerala.
He said this while inaugurating the district distribution of insurance schemes introduced by the Union Government and the first anniversary of Narendra Modi led NDA Governmenet at the Centre, here Mr Javedkar said the 85000 people of Kannur in North Malabar joined the schemes within 15 days while 85 crore were enrolled across the country in the last 100 days This showed the acceptance of the BJP Governement’s welfare schemes. Citing victories in other parts of the country he said the BJP will win seats in Kerala Assembly too in the coming days.
He called the CPI(M) to end the culture of violence and cooperate to retain peace in Kerala. BJP activists are working to serve the country and they would react democratically to win over the muscle power of CPI(M).
He reminded the BJP would come to power by serving the people in Kerala, soon. Mr Javedkar said that BJP Government is working on three-step module to empower the country by focusing on infrastructure development, improving skill among youths and housing to all people across the nation.
He also said the Narendra Modi-led Government opened all the doors to help the farmers by providing insurance schemes, irrigation facilities and loans from banks. Mr Javedkar demanded apology from Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh for scams which occurred during his tenure.
The Congress-led UDF Government in Kerala is a reflection of the previous Congress Government at the Centre in the issue pertaining to scams. BJP district president K Ranjith presided the function and Former State President P K Krishnadas and CK Padmanabhan , Senior BJP leader K Surendran, also attended.
