Thiruvannathapuram | Kerala Government is planning to give title deeds to 10,000 people in four months this year from September to December. The procedures have been initiated for setting a target for giving title deeds to 2,500 people in one month.
Official sources said apart from this 9,500 people in Idukki district will get title deeds before August 15 this year. Procedures are on to give title deeds to 6000 people in Pernjamkutti project area, 1000 people in CHR Cardamom Hills Reserve Area and 1000 people in 10 Chain Mekhala before this August 15.
Other than this, 1500 registered with the revenue department will get title deeds this year. Around 18,000 people have been given title deeds in the last four years, it said.
Three cent each will be given to 8673 eligible people who have applied under Zero Landless Kerala
Project. The land for the same has been identified and will be distributed before August 15, it said.
The government has taken all efforts to clear hindrance to provide title deeds to 3000 people in Vagaomon area in the State. A special team will be formed under the control of District Collector. The problems in survey number will be corrected and title deeds will be given before December this year.
