Kozhikode | Palliative nurses of three-tier local bodies in Kerala today demanded job regularization on the lines of Anganwadi workers in the state.
Talking to reporters here, Kerala Panchayat Palliative Nurses Association Patron M Rajan said this and other demands of the palliative care nurses will be deliberated in detail at the outfit’s second state conference slated to begin here on June 11.
Other demands included adequate wage and proper service conditions, Provident Fund, ESI and pension facilities, he said.
Senior Congress leader M K Raghavan, MP will inaugurate the 2-day meet which will be attended by, among others, A Pradeep Kumar, MLA, Purushan Kadalundi, MLA, A K Saseendran, MLA and District Panchayat President Kanathil Jameela, he added.
