Kannur | The Kerala Government Medical Officers’s Association (KGMOA) is organizing State-level People health protection campaign from Kasargod on June 15.
The campaign would conclude at Thiruvananthapuram on June 28. The main aim of the campaign is to create awareness among the people and revamp the health sector of Kerala.
Talking to newsmen here today, KGMOA District President Dr Santhosh B said Wynad Unit District President Dr Jithesh will led the campaign and State President Dr Prameela Devi and State Secretary Dr Joseph Chacko will accompany . Reception will organized in districts at important taluk and district hospitals.
The main demands of the camapign are: government should protect the government health institutions, ensure the quality of the medicines and supply in time bound manner, appoint necessary staffs in casualty wing and ensure 24 hours working, appoint minimum two doctors in each Primary Health Centres, provide super speciality facilities in district general hospitals.
In Kannur the reception to the State level campaign will be arranged at Payyanur Taluk, Kannur District and Thalassery Hospital on June 16.
