14-day remand for 9 CISF men in Airport fracas case

Manjeri | Judicial First Class Magistrate remanded Four CISF and 10 Fire and Safety personnel of the Airport Authority India (AAI) in connection with the brawl that occurred in the airport leading to the death of one CISF constable in Karipur airport.
The accused identified as Suresh Goula (West Bengal), Subhash Chandra ((Rajasthan) K K Gouda (Odissa), Jitendra Kumar and Aravind Yadav (both Uttar Pradesh), Ashwani Kumar and J A Natarajan (Maharashtra), Amit Tiwari (Madhya Pradesh) and Dhirendra Oran (Jharkhand), were arrested earlier.
As many as 67 CISF men were transferred to Chennai and Bangalore reportedly over their alleged role in the vandalism that followed the brawl.
CISF Head constable S S Yadav was killed when a service revolver went of inadvertently during an altercation over security pass between the two forces manning the airport.
