New Delhi | The Delhi Polices Special Investigation Team (SIT) is likely to conduct a polygraph test on Congress leader Shashi Tharoor in connection with the mysterious death of his wife Sunanda Pushkar.
The Delhi Police conducted a polygraph test on six people on June 22. The police also conducted a lie-detector test on three people — former Union Minister Shashi Tharoors domestic help Narain Singh, driver Bajrangi and his family friend Sanjay Dewan.
Sunanda Pushkar had a spat with Pakistani journalist Mehr Tarar on Twitter just a day before her death. She accused Tarar of stalking her husband.
She checked in Leela Hotel in Chanakyapuri  just a day before her death on January 17, 2014. She was married to Mr Tharoor in 2010.
Mr Tharoor has been questioned three times as Sunanda had alleged before her death that he had an affair with Ms Tarar.
