Tigerair ink MoU with Singapore Tourism

Thiruvananthapuram | Tigerair, the leading Singapore-based carrier has signed a Memorandum of Understanding(MoU) with Singapore Tourism Board (STB) to celebrate Singapores Golden Jubilee and 50 years of bilateral relations between Singapore and India.
To commemorate this special occasion, the renowned airline has announced a celebratory fare of 50% concession on its Singapore-bound flights from five Indian cities, a press release said here today.
Passengers travelling from Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kochi and Trichy can avail this special offer till July 15. The applicable travel period is from August four to November six.
The one-way fare from Kochi to Singapore begins at INR 3,999, while, return fare to Singapore will be INR 8,999 during the offer period.
As part of the celebrations, Singapore is rolling out a bonanza of promotions and special experiences for overseas visitors.
India is among the top five markets for Singapore with over 9,43,000 Indian travellers last year and the average length of stay increased to almost a week.
Tigerair operates a total of 40 weekly flights to Singapore from five Indian destinations. The airline also connects to Bali, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Manila, Perth, Taipei via Singapore, the gateway to amazing destinations in Asia Pacific that connect to Sydney, Gold Coast and 11 more destinations, apart from 50 weekly flights via Singapore in collaboration with Scoot.
