Kottayam | The Kerala Government has permitted Mahatma Gandhi University to facilitate continuation of studies of enrolled students in their second and third years of study, following the closing down of 132 off campus centers under the varsity.
This move will facilitate 12,787 students under the off campus mode in their second and third years to continue their programmes, besides enabling 4055 students to complete their programmes after appearing for the practical and viva voice, a university press release said.
The University had issued orders to close down the off campus centres in three stages following directions from the Chancellor, High Court and State Government.
