Thiruvananthapuram | CPI State Secretary Kanam Rajendran today alleged that secular politics of Left parties in Kerala seems to be very much minority appeasing.
Talking to newspersons here, Kanam Rajendran alleged that minorities are becoming majority in Kerala, thus needing a discussion on the changing social equations understanding the ground reality.
Without mentioning CPI(M) for its alleged appeasement policies towards minorities in Kerala, he said apprehensions of majority communities are also to be taken care off.
It is expected that the statement of CPI leader would be a matter of discussion among the CPI(M)-led Left Democratic Front (LDF) in Kerala in the wake of ‘continuous failure of LDF’ in all the previous bypolls in the State.
But, the BJP managed to increase its vote share many fold in the previous by elections, leading to the introspection by the Left party.
Meanwhile, CPI(M) State Secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan sidelined the CPI criticism by not responding to it.
