Kannur | The ‘Action Committee’ of Pariyaram Medical College Hospital (PMCH) will organize a solidarity meet at the Secretariat on July 30, demanding that Kerala Government must take over the PMCH soon.
Action Committee leader Dr D Surendranath alleged that the government and the CPI(M) led Director Board of PMCH had faked take over of PMCH. That is why the action committee has decided to organize a solidarity meet at Thiruvananthapuram.
The indefinite agitation of the action committee in front of the District Collectorate here since April 20, will complete 100 days on July 28. On that day, a protest gathering of artists under the banner of Thalassery multi media artistes forum will visit the agitators.
The file submitted by the District Collector P Bala Kiran led committee to assess the assets and liabilities of the PMCH, following the direction of Chief Minister Oommen Chandy, has been returned by the finance department according to media reports.
