Jaipur | Vishwa Hindu Parishad international President Pravin Togadia today demanded strong action against Pakistan for its continued terror activity in the country.
Referring to the Gurdaspur terror strike which killed over eight people, he said Indian foreign policy vis-a-vis Pakistan is a failure.
Talking to media here he said, ”India had to strike the terror outfit at its base in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir like the one we did in Myanmar recently.”
He said,”India had to undertake a mission to eliminate Dawood Ibrahim like the one done by the US to eliminate Osama bin Laden.”
”Prime Minister Narendra Modi need to show the kind of iron will which former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi displayed during the Bangladesh liberation.”
He said no amount of sari, mango diplomacy will be able to make amends in the behavior of Pakistan.
When asked whether the Prime Minister had to resign for his failure to handle Pakistani sponsored terrorism, he said, ”he is not demanding resignation but strong action”.
He also said there were security lapses on our part as terrorist were able to infiltrate in to the country.
He demanded modernisation of the forces with new technology to foil such nefarious activities.
He also said the kind of attack in Gurdaspur would not have been possible without local support and those people had to be identified.
Mr Togadia said those who are arguing against the death sentence of Mumbai Blast accused Yakub Memon are traitors and need to be socially boycotted.
He demanded an immediate plan of action for the rehabilitation of the displaced Kashmiri pundits and strong action against the anti national elements who display Pakistani flag there.
He also deplored the demolition of temples in Jaipur saying they had to be rebuilt at the original site.
