Thiruvananthapuram | Thirteen people were arrested in Kerala during the past two days in connection with selling of cigarettes, pan masala and other narcotic substances near educational institutions.
An official release said 22 raids were carried out in the last two days on the basis of complaints received from the public.
Ever since the drive was launched on May 30, 2014, as many as 9,815 persons were arrested and 10,119 cases registered in connection with the sale of narcotic substances near educational institutions.
The release said police would intensify the drive in the coming days.
