Kannur MP’s ‘Mann ki baat’ from tomorrow

Kannur | Kannur Member of Parliament (MP) P K Sreemathy will inaugurate the Janakeeyam Janasamaksham   Programme tomorrow  at collectorate conference hall here.
The programme will broadcast through Kannur FM of All India Radio (AIR) with the cooperation of Information and Public Department .
The MP will give reply to the questions of the people , who had earlier submitted their views on matters of public interest, in this function and it would aired on later days. The duration of series is 25 minutes and aired from 0735 hrs to 0800 hrs on Kannur FM channel .The people of Kannur, Kasargod and Mahe can listen to this series and would be aired once in two months (60 days).
This programme is  like the Prime minister Narendra Modi Maan ki Baat broadcast through All India Radio.
MPs  Mulappally Ramachandran,P Karunakaran, K K Raghesh and Richard Hay would get similar chances later in this broadcast media platform of  FM channel that aims to connect them with the public at large and to hear the views and feedback from them. MPs may use the new platform to present developmental issues and to talk about their positions on such issues.
The FM series to be broadcast once in two months that allows the MPs to interact with the people and to intervene in issues of public concern and they also get innovative s  ideas from them.  The people would also know the news of various Central schemes and aid available through MP.
District Collector P Balakiran would preside over the function and District Panchayat President K A Sarla attended as chief guest.
