Ambala | A 22-year-old lady teacher working in a private school at village Ugala under Shehzadpur police station, eloped with a 15-year-old student on July 26.
Police have not traced the duo so far, although mother of the boy in a complaint lodged with the DCP Rural alleged that the teacher had instigated her minor son studying in 9th class to run away with her and the family had no clue since their elopement.
She further alleged that Barara police took away her husband for interrogation, but he had not returned home. She said her son was studying in the government school, while the lady teacher was employed in a private school. She further stated that being neighbourers, the teacher used to visit their residence frequently. Both eloped on July 26 and they were clueless since.
She, however, said that the parents of the teacher had received a mobile call from her son, who had told them that he was speaking from Himachal Pradesh. Since then, they had no information about them.
However, Barara SHO Narinder Kadiyan said that a case had been registered against the boy on the complaint made by the parents of the teacher and search was started.
