Kerala bus catches fire in AP, passengers safe

Ananatapur | Passengers of a Volvo bus had a close shave  after it caught fire on the National Highway at Garladinne mandal in this district of Andhra Pradesh last night.
The bus, belonging to  Kallada travels in Kerala was gutted.
Police said the incident occurred sometime after the midnight near Timmampeta village, when the bus was parked on the National Highway after a passenger got down for nature call.
The driver noticed the flame and his timely intervention enabled the passengers to get down with their luggages. No one was injured,  police added.
