Thiruvananthapuram | The culture of political murders happening in Kerala is a shame to the State, Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala said here today.
Talking to newspersons after a high-level meeting convened to asses the growing political violence in the state during the ongoing Onam celebrations, he said there were no specific reasons for the clash between the CPI(M) and the BJP.
All these violent incidents were pre-planned by the concerned political parties. They are killing each other without any reason. The Government will take stern action against those involved in the violence, he added.
Meanwhile, four houses of CPI(M) and five houses of BJP workers were attacked early this morning in Kannur. However, no arrest was reported in connection with the incident.
