Thiruvananthapuram | Kerala Government is planning to establish an international education hub aiming to improve the quality of higher education in the State, Chief Minister Oommen Chandy said here today.
Talking to newspersons after the Cabinet Meeting, the Chief Minster said it would help the state to attract more foreign investment in the education sector. A final decision in this regard would be taken only after a discussion with teachers organizations and opposition parties.
Over the CPI(M)-BJP clashes in the state, he said stern action would be taken against those promoting political violence. The Government also received a memorandum from BJP State President V Muralidharan urging to bring the situation under control.
