Making the new media a boon or bane is your choice

Radhamani Parameswaran is an ardent lover of social media on a positive note. It is a platform wide open for people like her who like to scribble and publish hassle free. A poet and short story writer her creations easily reach to many through this new found network of people.
She prefers to write poems. She was a Bank employee and took VRS to engage herself fully in writing. Now she is busy to publish her new anthology. She is happy on the accolades received from across the social media when a new venture is on-board.
‘Social media have two sides. We should have the capacity to distinguish good and bad among them. A keen analysis is mandatory while using social medium like Facebook”. Radhamani of Alappuzha was born to Parameswaran Nair and Bhavaniamma. She lost her mother in childhood.
She has already published four anthologies and a novel. Her first anthology is ‘Ente Kannanthali Poovilanu’. It contains 35 poems. ‘Bhoomiyude Vilapam’, ‘Pancha Bhoothangal’, ‘ Avasthantharangal’ etc are the other anthologies. Her novel is ‘Kilungatha Ottuvalakal’.
She likes old songs rather than new ones. But she is not against the new trends in music. Till date she is honored with Govind Award of Thiruvananthapuram Navarasa Sangeeta Sabha in 2013, Pratibha Award of Cherthala Perishable Goods Merchants Association and Poet Ayyappan Award.
