Mumbai | Indrani Mukherjea, prime suspect in high profile Sheena Bora murder case has regained conscious after two-days, as she will be kept under observation till tomorrow, Doctors said. Mystery over her unconscious is deepening, as per Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) report, there is no trace of overdose in her blood sample examination.
Mr Lahane told media persons that Indrani regained conscious and her blood samples did not show excessively high levels of Etizolam or Mirtazapine. While Etizolam belongs to the Benzodiazepine class of drugs that are used as an anxiolytic ‘medication to curb anxiety’ Mirtazapine is a new class of anti-depressant that is generally used for depressed patients with significant sleep problems.

It may recalled that, on October 2, Mukerjea had collapsed inside the Byculla jail. Doctors later confirmed that she was on medication for depression and epilepsy and had been taking drugs since September 11.
Her judicial custody is expired today, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), which is probing the case now, is likely to take her custody for further investigation.
