Both FIFA chief and UEFA chief have been provisionally banned for 90 days from any football-related activity in a ruling that throws world football into total meltdown. FIFA secretary-general Jerome Valcke has also been banned for 90 days meaning the three most powerful men in world football are now all provisionally suspended while investigations by FIFA’s ethics committee continue. The ban will effectively end outgoing FIFA president Blatter’s ambitions to stay on until February, while UEFA president Platini’s hopes of succeeding him lie in tatters.
Pele arrived here yesterday on a three-day trip before going to New Delhi to watch Subrata Cup football final for school boys, answering a separate question said Argentine striker Lionel Messi is currently best footballer in
the world.
I have been watching Messi for past ten years and at present he is the best striker in the world, Pele said whist comparing skill and technique of Portuguese striker Cristiano Ronaldo and Brazilian striker Neimer.

Pele also refused to single out the best player and coach in the world during his time and successive generations.
He said it would not not fair to identify one and leave others.  During my time Dede, Vava, Garincha and later Zico, and then Ronaldo and currently Neimer all have had contributed very much for improvement of football in Brazil, Pele added.
He also sinlged out any greatest coach and said during his time Mario Zagalo was outstanding coach.
Regarding present status of Brazil’s football Pele said his country still produced top ranking players but the problem was that they mostly play in Europe so the country  misses a team.
Unless the players can not play together for long time it will be ‘ very difficult to win the major trophy in the world, Pele added.
