Los Angeles | The cover art for Justin Bieber’s upcoming album Purpose has not gone down well with some Middle East countries as they find it provocative, due to the cross tattoo on singer’s chest.
The countries, including Indonesia, have banned the album and have taken the issue with the Canadian singer being shirtless in the artwork and flaunting the cross tattoo, reported Aceshowbiz.
The 21-year-old pop star’s team is reportedly working on an alternate album art, though it unclear how the revamped cover will look. Purpose is due for November 13 release.
