New Delhi | The Congress today questioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s inaction against BJP leaders who allegedly ”supported” the Dadri lynching incident.
Congress reaction came in response to Mr Modi’s interview in which he expressed his sadness over the Dadri lynching incident.
If Mr Narendra Modi is really sad at the Dadri incident, then why does not he act against the BJP leaders who have indirectly supported the incident,” senior Congress leader Digvijay Singh posted on micro-blogging site Twitter.
In an interview to a daily, Mr Modi has expressed sadness over the Dadri incident.
There is no connection to the Centre and this issue is related to law and order and the concern of the state government,” Mr Modi said. He also accused the Opposition of trying to indulge in polarisation.
