New Delhi | BJP MP and former cricketer Kirti Azad, who was suspended from his party, has threatened to come out with more revelations in the coming days regarding irregularities in Delhi’s cricket body by Finance Minister Arun Jaitley.
It comes a day after the Darbhanga MP was suspended from BJP for his anti-party activities, apparently for publicly targeting Jaitley with allegations of irregularities in DDCA.
Azad had defied the party chief and went ahead with a press conference on Sunday highlighting corruption allegations linked to the Delhi and District Cricket Association(DDCA) of which Jaitley was the president for 13 years till 2013.
Speaking to media over his suspension, the World Cup winning team member said he couldn’t believe the Bharatiya Janata Party would stoop so low as to take action against him for reporting corruption
The Congress Party said Azad’s ouster reflects the BJP high command’s favorite method of functioning – “my way or highway.”
