Kolkotta | CPM Politbureau has decided to issue separate guidelines to the party’s state units as part of a corrective policy on organizational activities.

The decision was taken at the PB meeting convened to prepare replies to discussions on party resolutions and party document.

PB took the stand of fully accepting the criticisms raised during discussions.

The guidelines will be included in replies to be given by PB members Sitram Yechuri and Prakash Karat in the party document Thursday, at the conclusion of the five-day plenum.

All party members should be given consideration without any discrimination, it has been instructed.

Youth and women will get more representation in various committees. The performance of Central Committee members will be assessed in regular intervals. Their activities will be extended to more fields. State leaders should directly involve in campaign programs and mass protests. The General Secretary will also give directions to entrust more leaders with the responsibility to coordinate people’s organizations.

65 delegates took part in discussions on reports presented in the plenum. Most of them, including delegates from Kerala, severely criticized the central leadership. The party’s functioning in the last 10 years took the beating mainly.
