Thiruvananathapuram | Aam Admi Party (AAP)’s Kerala State Convenor Sara Joseph has resigned from the post reportedly due to differences of opinion with the leadership.

News channels have reported that a series of meetings that Somnath Bharati, who is in charge of party’s South Zone affairs, held with spiritual leaders in Kerala triggered her resignation.

AAP state unit informed its dissatisfaction over the talks to party’s central leadership, they added.

Sara Joseph, a popular Malayalam writer and Kendra Sahitya Akademi Award winner, joined the party founded by Aravind Kejriwal a year ago. She had contested the Lok Sabha polls from Thrissur constituency last year.
