Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy also criticised the Centre on its handling of the Pathankot incident. This is an unfortunate incident and the attack is a real threat to our security. The government could have dealt with the attack more carefully, he said.
He also announced assistance of Rs 50 lakh to deceased NSG commando Niranjan Kumar, who had his roots in Kerala. Apart from assistance, we have also offered a job to his wife. The state will take full responsibility of his daughter’s education. After she finishes her studies, she will be given priority in a job in the state government, Chandy said.
