Mumbai | Kerala secured a stunning victory in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 20-20 cricket tournament on Saturday over Baroda, gaining valuable four points.
After losing six wickets for 119, it was a heroic seventh wicket partnership between Raiphi Vincent Gomez and Prashant Parameshwaran that helped Kerala reach the target in 19.4 overs.
Raiphy (47) and Prashant (17) remained not out.
After losing three wickets early, Nikhilesh Surendran (36) and Sachin Baby (44) steadied the Kerala innings.
Earlier, Baroda scored 160 runs losing 6 wickets in 20 overs.
Sandeep Warrier and Pashant took 2 wickets each.
