Thrissur: Thrissur Additional District Sessions court has found businessman Mohammad Nissam guilty in the killing of Chandrabose (47), the security guard in Shobha City.
A case was charged against Nisham, who is a resident of Shobha City, accusing him of attacking Chandrabose on January 29 last year, leading to the latter’s death.
Additional District Sessions Judge K.P. Sudheer said Wednesday the court has admitted all the arguments by the Prosecution, and that it proved nine counts, including homicide, charged against Nisham.
The court accepted the prosecution’s argument that Nisham committed the crime due to personal vengeance.
The court will pronounce the sentence of punishment tomorrow after hearing what Nissam has to say.
The Prosecution has sought capital punishment for Nisham.
Nisham, who was intoxicated, allegedly hit Bose with his luxury car and manhandled him for being late to open the gate in the wee hours. Police admitted Chandrabose in the hospital and he succumbed to critical injuries on February 16.
Nisham was arrested on January 30.
