Thiruvananthapuram | Chief Minister Oommen Chandy has appeared before the judicial commission, which is investigating the solar scam.
The Chief Minister said in a deposition submitted to the Commission that the government did not incur financial losses due to the scam.
The Commission recorded his statements regarding the involvement of the Chief Minister’s office at a sitting at Thycaud guest house Monday.
The CM told the Commission that there was an error in his statement in the assembly regarding the date of his presence in Delhi to attend the national development conference. The meeting was held on December 27, 2012, where as he originally said it was on December 29, 2012.
Chandy also denied Sreedharan Nair’s claim that he and Saritha Nair met Chandy together.
