Kochi | Kerala High Court stays Vigilance court’s order against K Babu in bar bribery scam for two months. High court said it was not right from the Thrissur Vigilance court to file FIR ( First Investigation Report) against K Babu’s case based on the secondary information. It also said going beyond judiciary is not right. However court also said, the reports from the quick verification should be submitted within 10 days.
After the High Court’s order Babu also said truth will come out and he believes in god. It was alleged that K Babu took 10 crore rupees bribe from bar hotel owners. following that the Vigilance court in Thrissur asked Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau to register a case against K Babu based on the complaint filed by George Vattukulam which further lead to K Babu’s resignation from the Minister’s position. However K Babu also said, it is a conspiracy planned against him by CPI (M) state secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan and V Shivankutty MLA and four other bar hotel owners including Biju Ramesh.
