Kochi | Saritha S Nair, the main accused in the solar scam, told the investigating judicial commission that she held discussion with Chief Minister Oommen Chandy over launching a new solar panel company, and that the latter had suggested to make his son Chandy Oommen its director.
Sarita S Nair made more shocking revelations on Friday, the third day of her deposition before the solar commission. She said the Chief Minister’s statement that he has no links with the planned solar company is sheer lie.
She added that the CM wanted her to import solar panels from a US company.
Saritha alleged that Chandy Oommen had a relationship with a woman who was accused in the solar case. They travelled to Dubai together, she said, and refused to disclose the identity of the woman. Saritha claimed that the video clippings of the Dubai tip are in the possession of minister Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan.
This clip was used by Thiruvanchoor to bargain with Oommen Chandy during the time of the cabinet reshuffle, according to Saritha.
Saritha insisted that she had only business links with Chandy Oommen.
