Thiruvananthapuram | On the eve of the Kerala State Assembly’s budget session, the Opposition is meeting the Governor citing allegations popping up against the government.
The leaders of Opposition parties, led by V.S. Achuthanandan, are scheduled to meet Governor Sadasivam at Rajbhavan at 11 a.m.
In the context of multiple corruption charges being leveled against the Cabinet members as well as ruling party MLAs, they are expected to request the Governor to abstain from delivering the speech on the policies of the government.
They will also urge the Governor to bar the Chief Minister from presenting the state budget for the financial year 2016-17.
