Kochi |Saritha. S. Nair, the accused in the solar scam, has submitted to the inquiry commission evidence material of the sexual exploitation she had to suffer in connection with the case.
This includes details of a controversial letter she had written while in jail regarding allegations linking her with political leaders.
The material was handed over to Justice Sivarajan Commission in sealed cover Friday. The Commission continued the interrogation of Saritha.
She told the inquiry commission that she will provide all evidence by tomorrow noon.
Saritha told the Commission that she paid Rs 20 lakhs to Kerala Police Association through its
General Secretary GR Ajith at the north block of the Secretariat in May 2013 after getting guarantee that she gets order to install solar panels in all police stations.
Saritha also said that she received help from M.I. Shanavas M.P. for setting up solar panels at Wayanad Collectorate.
She also provided evidence of several phone calls she made to Chief Minster’s official residence.
